Al-Fayhaa Club announced its official contract with the Brazilian Paulinho, from the ranks of the first football team at Al-Shabab Club, during the current summer transfers.
The board of directors of Al-Fayhaa Club, headed by Abdullah bin Ahmed Abanmi, completed the procedures for signing the Brazilian professional midfielder Paulinho Lucas DePaola, on loan until the end of the season, coming from Al Shabab Club.
The contract signing ceremony took place at the Al-Fayhaa preparatory camp in the Republic of Austria, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdullah Abanmi, and the team manager, Muhammad Al-Hindi.
Al-Fayhaa is preparing for the 2022-2023 season, which will witness the team’s participation in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional League and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, where Al-Fayhaa will defend its title in the King’s Cup, and will also participate in the qualifying supplement to the group stage of the 2024 AFC Champions League.
Who is Paulinho? Paulo Lucas Santos DiPaola "Paulinho" is a Brazilian midfielder, born in 1997. He played for a number of clubs during the junior and Olympic class, and made his debut in the first division teams with the Portuguese team Boavista.
Al Shabab signed Paulinho, 25, in July 2021, and the player has a contract with Al Leith until 2025.
